What’s your favourite tea?!!
Earl Gray with vanilla. In Australia there is great tea shop called T2 that carries ‘Melbourne Breakfast’. I’m also a fan of ‘Secret Weapon’ by Davids Tea back home in Canada.
I was at the corner store today when two children came in looking for snacks. They held up various items throughout the store asking the clerk how much they cost. When the little girl said she only had a dollar the woman laughed and raised her voice at them as if they should have known a dollar could only get you the bulk candy at the front of the store.
There were individual $1 bags with the equivalent of like 3 gummy worms in each… clearly a rip off.
The little girl frowned in disappointment realizing her dollar wouldn’t get her very far and she would have to share the bag with her brother.
I remember the joy of buying the same candy for a mere 5 cents a piece when I was her age. I threw a dollar down on the table and told the girl to buy a second bag with it. Her face lit up and the two children both had the biggest smiles on their faces. I think I even managed to break through the clerk.
I guess a dollar can get you something after all…
What made you decide to work in TV?
I really enjoyed my Comm Tech class in high school so decided to do a co-op placement with my local TV station and fell in love with it. I thrive off the adrenaline rush of a live show.
